One of our pleasant surprises on our quest to blaze a trail of all of the New Jersey breweries, was our discovery of the “Twin Elephant Brewing Company” in Chatham, New Jersey. What a delightful, friendly brewery!!!

Once we passed through the outside entrance, we came upon the Twin Elephant’s outside seating area/patio and found it to be nicely spaced and had good seating. Many of the “tables” were wooden spools that were once used to hold wires, cables, etc,…very cool! Despite the cooler weather (we visited the Twin Elephant Brewing Company (TEBC) during late winter) there were several patrons seated in the outdoor area enjoying their conversations and the nice, crisp outdoor air!

Upon entering the Twin Elephant Brewing Company, we instantly felt a experienced a good vibe and warm, welcoming atmosphere. The entire bar, tables in the tasting room, and the wall behind the bar were all fashioned and built from refurbished / reclaimed wood form an old barn…and it looked GREAT!! There was even a very nice big mural of the company on one wall that certainly added to the warm surroundings of the room. We really liked the hanging plants and other greenery that was scattered aroung the tasting room and above some of the big tables.

Thirsty? Well, this is a great place to be! Tasty drinks such as the “Yam Jams”, “Gotta Be Fresh”, and “Yes! Points!”, and others, we found to be authentically flavorsome and savory. They have a great range of glass sizes. The people that worked behind the bar were particularly excited to welcome us and they were more than happy to share the history of the brewery with is as well as to suggest the different kinds of drinks to us. It was well worth the trip and experience!
