We visited the Slack Tide Brewery in its new location and found it to be a beautiful, clean, and fresh establishment. It features a very pleasant outdoor seating area complete with picnic tables, umbrellas, a fire pit, and an indoor/outdoor fireplace to sit and enjoy your drinks.
The tasting room has a beachy decor. The tables are made from magnificently crafted real wood with a type of polymer infused within. There are several maps of the New Jersey coastline adorning the walls. There are also granite window counters, roomy seating, and a nice bar to sit back, relax, and relish some good beer. In December of 2021, Slack Tide canned their ONE MILLIONTH CAN!!
Their signature brews are the West Coast IPA, “Angry Osprey,” and the Belgian Blonde, “Bell Buoy.” There were a wide variety of IPA’S available such as NEIPA, American, West Coast, and Imperials. There are also farmhouse and pale ales ready, an American Amber, and an American stout. If you are looking for a place with diverse and high-quality brews, this is it! The word, “slack-tide” refers to the moment in time when there is a calm when the tide is changing…and when you visit this fabulous brewery, you will certainly have found a place of calm…to truly relax, unwind, have a nice cold beer…perfect!
