What an absolutely beautiful brewery! After passing the brewery’s VERY CREATIVE road sign in the front of the establishment (check out the picture) and parking in the spacious parking lot, we came up to the large outdoor seating area which had a plethora of picnic tables, a fire pit, corn hole games, and even a ping pong table…how cool is that!! It is also very child and pet friendly. 

The inside has the feel and decor of a rustic, woodsy, mountain lodge complete with some of the most beautifully and charming crafted bars and tables that we have seen in our brewery travels…simply AWESOME! Of course, there are many pictures, wood carvings, etc., of bears scattered throughout the rooms. There is a delightful fireplace surrounded by comfortable and cozy leather chairs and a couch. The bar is also splendidly crafted with nice plush bar chairs. 

Our beertender was amiable and affable. There are several kinds of beers available from the 12 tap beer system. We LOVED the “Rick” cucumber dill gose, the “Baby Behr” IPA (named for the owner’s child), and the “Dark Thirty” dark stout. There are other marvelous ales, a Belgian witbier, NEIPA, Kölsch, shandy, seltzers, etc., available for your enjoyment! 

Steve and Catherine Wilson, once high school sweethearts and now the proud owners of Behr brewing, have much to be proud of!! If you are looking for a relaxing, fun, and hip brewery to visit…with a country feel (even if you are in a beach area) and the heat becomes unBEARable…make it a point to visit this welcoming brewery…you will love it!!
