The Ludlam Island Brewery is a kind of brewery that will bring a song to your heart, a smile to your face, and happiness to your belly. When you finish your visit to the brewery, you would have not only experienced a wonderfully helpful and cheerful staff but you would have also enjoyed some excellent and flavorful beers!

The brewery itself isn’t big, but don’t be fooled, the welcoming and fun atmosphere is huge and the tastes of the beers even bigger. The decor of the tasting room and bar area has a woodsy/beachy feel to it. There is a nice metal side bar, a handsomely crafted wooden table adorning the center of the room, and a sleek looking metal bar top. Our bartenders, Laura and Andy were awesome!! They were not only welcoming and knowledgeable but they made us feel right at home with their neighborly enthusiasm.

As we stated previously, the beers are very, very good. Though the number of drinks on tap is somewhat limited, all of them were savory, crisp and clean. They offer various kinds of IPA’s, ales, stouts, stouts and lagers, as well as sours, seltzers, and a German pilsner “to go”. The good news, there are always new and exciting brews being created on a regular basis!

One last piece of good news: the Ludlam Island Brewery will soon be moving to a much bigger location in the near future! We will keep you updated! If you have never been to the Ludlam Island Brewery, you REALLY need to get there! You won’t be disappointed!
