*Neshanic Station comes from the Algonquian language meaning “double stream,” and the community featured a station along the defunct South Branch Railroad, later a branch of the Central Railroad of New Jersey.

Located in the scenic countryside of Neshanic Station, just off of Route 202, is the beautiful Reading ton Brewery and Hop Farm!! The brewery is surrounded by big open fields which contain a spacious picnic area, a very nice outdoor open patio and a covered outdoor patio, fire pits, and even a big playground for the kiddos!! The building itself is gorgeous and the interior rustic/country decor adds to the charm and appeal of the establishment. The large and roomy tasting/bar room contains exquisite and impressive handcrafted tables and the woodwork on the ceiling and surrounding area is simply a beautiful work of art! There were plenty of games to be played for the entire family …and even a Pacman video game!

The beertenders that we met, Brandon and Kathryn couldn’t have been any nicer and welcoming. Their knowledge of the brews, willingness to answer our questions, and serve us was spectacular. We found the beers to be very good and the live band was great, making our experience a very pleasant experience. The beer menu is always changing and the vast drink menu includes drinks such as ales, porters, lagers, märzen, IPA’s, saisons, and a plethora of other great drinks! Their field to glass or “Bine to Stein” philosophy is very apparent was drinking their farm fresh beer. They even grow their own hops from their hop farm!!
