Alternate Ending Beer Company, Aberdeen Township, New Jersey – Monmouth County

The Alternate Ending Beer Company is a delightful craft brewery located in Aberdeen Township, New Jersey. Opened in 2020, this gem creatively repurposed a former Bow Tie Cinema, which closed in 2018, into a lively and unique brewery and dining destination. Two of the original theater rooms were converted into the brewery’s kettling area, while the lobby and other spaces were transformed into a vibrant dining and bar area, complete with nostalgic theater decor. A standout feature is a mini replica of “Holsten’s Ice Cream Parlor,” famously from the final episode of The Sopranos.

The atmosphere is upbeat and festive, with a welcoming environment that immediately puts you at ease. The spacious dining and bar area invites visitors to stay and enjoy great conversation, thanks to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service, especially from their standout bartender, Sean.

Beer lovers rejoice! Alternate Ending features an impressive range of options:

  • IPAs galore: Hazy IPAs, Double IPAs (DIPAs), and West Coast IPAs (WCIPAs).
  • Lagers: Including German-style pilsners.
  • Stouts, like their deeply flavorful dark brew.
Their flagship “What If?” Dry Hopped Double IPA is a standout that captures the attention of IPA enthusiasts, delivering bold and balanced flavors.

In addition to the beer, Alternate Ending boasts a full kitchen with a liquor license. Their collaboration with Talula’s of Asbury Park brings delicious square sourdough pizza to the table, including the must-try “Mrs. French Onion Deep Dish Pizza.” Other food offerings include classic theater popcorn, pub-style burgers, sandwiches, and desserts.

The brewery keeps things lively with a packed event schedule, including Trivia Nights, Movie nights, a Breakfast Club Brunch, and Happy Hours.
