Mechanical Brewery: A Hands-On, Mechanical Marvel of a Brewery!
Opened in 2020, Mechanical Brewery in Cherry Hill, NJ, is a true passion project, built from the ground up by owner James Griffin, whose grandfather was a mechanic. True to its name, everything about the brewery ties into mechanics, from the beer names to the decor—and nearly all of it was crafted by James himself.

Walking into Mechanical Brewery is like stepping into a creative workshop of beer innovation. The space is filled with cool mechanical gadgets, including a table that charges phones, and one of the most creative beer menu boards we’ve ever seen. Every visit brings a new discovery, making it one of the most fun breweries we’ve visited.
The brewery boasts 20-30 beers and seltzers on tap, featuring a lineup of unique and flavorful options. Whether you’re an IPA fan, a stout lover, or just in for a refreshing seltzer, you’ll find something to enjoy. There’s a plethora of other kinds of brews to choose from including pilsners, witbiers, saisons, sours, barleywines, and porters. Rick the Brewer keeps the beers flowing, while Frank, the seltzer guy, ensures there’s a crisp, refreshing option for everyone.
A standout feature is the Flight Crew Membership, perfect for those who love sampling a variety of brews. Speaking of samples, flights are available in 4 or 6 pours, letting you explore the ever-changing tap list.
The experience is made even better by Jess, the beertender, who is soooo nice! Her welcoming attitude and great recommendations make the visit even more enjoyable.
If you love creativity, craftsmanship, and great beer, Mechanical Brewery is a must-visit!
