If you are visiting or live in central New Jersey, there is a charming, family owned craft brewery that we think that you should visit, the Seven Sons Brewery, located just off of Route 9 in Howell township. The interior design has a simple, clean industrial feel to it and the environment is welcoming and inviting. The brewery’s kettles and fermenters also add to the decor of the room. There is a nice little lounge area complete with plush couches surrounding a large screen TV that is a comfortable area to relax. The brewery is VERY pet and child friendly…a great place to bring your family and furry little friends!

We found the beertender to be a very pleasant and happy young man, despite the fact that he was working alone. He certainly made our visit there pleasant and enjoyable. The brewery offers hard seltzers, along with a pumpernickel rye porter, a coffee or vanilla stout, a Hefeweizen, a farmhouse saison, an American lager, and both a hazy IPA and DIPA. As with many other breweries, new beers are always being created and produced. We found the drinks to be savory, refreshing, and wholesome.

The next time you are in the central Jersey area, make it a point to visit the Seven Son Brewing Company…you won’t be disappointed!!
