********

Located in the heart of the Jersey shore town of Point Pleasant, you will find the delightful and friendly Frye Brewing Company. Founded by Colleen, a former bus driver for special needs children for over 18 years, and her husband, Mike Frye. The brewery opened in 2017 and we found the atmosphere to be comfortable and relaxing. The beertender, Katelyn was a happy and welcoming soul. The tasting room has a beachy feel and is furnished with lovely picnic tables, and really cool mini-lifeguard chairs in which you can sit and enjoy a nice cold brew!

Many of the beers are named after actual locations on the Jersey shore with many new and exciting drinks on the horizon. Their focus is primarily on IPA’s, lagers, stouts, blends, and even a barrel aged Imperial brown! One of the most popular drinks is the “Amber Apple Pie” amber which is made with a REAL apple pie recipe! You have to try it…it really is good! “,Colleen’s Irish Red”, “The Dark”, an Irish stout, “Tice’s Shoal”, a NEIPA, and the “Summ’time Blonde” were other drinks that we found to be quite fresh and tasty.

A Panoramic View of the Brewery!

The next time you are in the Point Pleasant / Bay Head area of the beaches of New Jersey, you need to make it a point to visit the Frye Brewing Company. Good People. Good Beer. Good times!

CHEERS!
