*On September 2, 1609, Henry Hudson and the crew of his ship, Half Moon, noticed Point Pleasant Beach on their way north to explore the Hudson River. COWABUNGA! Surf’s up dude! That’s the kind of surfing environment you will feel when you visit Point Pleasant’s “Last Wave Brewing Company.” Walking into the brewery, you will instantly feel the beachy vibe and pleasant atmosphere. There are wave-like decorations on the ceiling and the room is painted with a cool green pastel color complete with surfboards, and a very nice couch seating area, raised tables and even picnic tables! There is a large outdoor patio area that has wooden / beachy-style tables and chairs along with more picnic tables. There is a very cool looking mural painted on the outside wall of the brewery. This is a great outdoor area to hang out with friends and family to enjoy a nice cold brew on a warm day (or anytime 🙂

We found the bartenders to be extremely happy, cheerful, and enthusiastic. They were more than willing to answer our questions and suggest some of their great drinks! We found the drinks to be flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The brewery offers a little bit of everything. They offer all kinds of ales, hard seltzers, sours, porters, stouts, lagers, and IPA’s. The drinks of liquid happiness are always changing and are continuously bringing pleasure and delight to everyone who visits Last Wave!
So, after enjoying a nice warm day at the beach or a stroll on the Point Pleasant boardwalk, make it a point to dive into the Last Wave brewery and enjoy some Jersey Shore delight!
CHEERS!
